Selena Quintanilla is a singer and songwriter. It’s some of the most beautiful music you will ever hear. Selena was an inspiration to me and I loved her music. Selena started singing when she was young and began her band with family members and her friends. She attended two universities, Pacific Western University as well as Louisiana State University. Both of these Universities were her graduations. She was known for her contributions to music, fashion and music. Selena Quintanilla exhibited a lot of respect and kindness to all people.

Selena Quintanilla is a Texas native who was born April 16, 1971 in Lake Jackson. Abraham Quintanilla, Marcela Samora were her parents. Selena had a sister and a brother. Her sister Suzette Quintanilla is her brother, while A.B. is her brother. Quintanilla ll. Selena, eighteen, began a career with Selena Y Los Dinos (her father’s band). Abraham Quintanilla was Selena’s dad. Selena Y Los Dinos, the family group he managed and produced, was also his production company. Selena, at age 10, became the family’s lead singer. The group began playing in Texas clubs and weddings. Abraham was her brother and Suzette was her sister on drums. The band was officially founded in 1981. Yolanda Saltdivar, her friend. She also was her former manager. She was only 23 years old at the time she was gunned down in Corpus Christi. She was gunned down at a motel after Yolanda had finished telling her about her rape in Mexico. Yolanda saldivar shot Selena Quintanilla in the right chest. Selena graduated from Louisiana State University and Pacific Western University. Madonna, Madonna and Janet Jackson were the primary influences on Selena’s dance moves, music and fashion. Selena once said, “If anyone takes your dream away, they won’t give it to you.” Selena also loves pizza, and her movie is Selena. She was my favorite artist because I loved her music growing up and would dance to it when I was sad or bored.

Selena Quintanilla was loved by over 65 million people before her death. Her concerts were always free and she would hand out t-shirts, signed cups, photos, and sometimes even hugged her fans. She was loved by so many and she left them devastated. Selena was also well-known for her beauty. People would often take photos with her because they loved her beauty and how kind she was. They would feel special when they met Selena in person. Selena Quintanilla has been a hero to me. Selena Quintanilla is an inspiration to all people because she helped make the world a better place. Selena was a tireless advocate for education and would visit every school to encourage children to stay in school.

Selena Quintanilla is a person I discovered about that was not known before. Her husband Chris Perez was also in Selena’s band when they were children. She was a great inspiration to me. She would travel across the country to talk to students about the importance of staying in school. Selena Quintalilla’s height was 5’5 when she died, and she would have been 47 had she lived.
